Wellington Competitions Miramar Club.—The elub closed the winter season'on Saturday afternoon with a mixed fourball. which attracted a large entry. ' The winners were Mr. and Mrs. F. R Combes, who returned- the good card of' 7 up. This result, was helped by Mr. Combes holing his tee shot at the sixth. The next best performers were: Mr. W. L Burch and Miss Helen Taylor, 5 up; Mr J. Hughes and Mrs. Young and -Mr, and Mrs. A. .Marsden, 3 up; Mr. and Mrs. H M Dykes, Mr. Jacques, and Miss Simpson and Mr. J. L. Gichard and Miss Brien, 2 up; Mr. H. I’l. H. Aplin and Miss Aplin and Mr. S. Fearu and Miss G. Campbell, all square. The prizes won during the season were presented by Mrs. \V. L.
