Wellington Competitions Miramar Club.—The elub closed the winter season'on Saturday afternoon with a mixed fourball. which attracted a large entry. ' The winners were Mr. and Mrs. F. R Combes, who returned- the good card of' 7 up. This result, was helped by Mr. Combes holing his tee shot at the sixth. The next best performers were: Mr. W. L Burch and Miss Helen Taylor, 5 up; Mr J. Hughes and Mrs. Young and -Mr, and Mrs. A. .Marsden, 3 up; Mr. and Mrs. H M Dykes, Mr. Jacques, and Miss Simpson and Mr. J. L. Gichard and Miss Brien, 2 up; Mr. H. I’l. H. Aplin and Miss Aplin and Mr. S. Fearu and Miss G. Campbell, all square. The prizes won during the season were presented by Mrs. \V. L. Burch, wife of the captain of the club. Hutt Club.—Stableford: T. R. Abercrombie, 33 points, on count-back from F. W. Whitwell and A. L. Hurdiey. Bogey: N. Sherwood, 2 up, on count-back from f' h. M.
