LUCRATIVE, 0.3 (Purtell) 1 HIGH ROAD, 7.0 (KWh) 2 EL GOLEA, 8.12 (Creighton) 2 Eleven started. Two lengths and a hall; half-length. Time, 2.32*.
ROBSTOWN PLATE, of £5OO. Six furlongs ALL VEIL, 9.9 J ORTELI, 7.12 (Morne ment) ORCADIAN, 7.4 (Perchal 3 Fifteen started. One length and a quarter: length and three-quarters. Time, 1.1-4. The New Zealander Pioneer won the Maiden Two-year-old Handicap, of five tur[Pioneer is one of three horses taken to Victoria recently iby H. Griffith, Hastings, for Air. F. C. Christie, and Is a brown colt Iby Paper Money from Mudlark. He was at an outside quote for Saturdaj s race at Flemingon.—St. Simon.l
