CLIEF. —On November 23, 1941, at the residence of her daughter, Seatoun, Mary Hannah, widow of George Cliff, and beloved mother of Harold (Heleusville), Gordon, and Cecil (N.Z.E.I*. Overseas), Mrs. J. S. Munro (Johannesburg), and Mrs. A. H. Richards (Seatoun). Interment at Hamilton.
EAST. —On November 22, 1941, at M ellington, Selwyn, beloved husband of Mary East, late of Christchurch; aged 61 years.
HAND. —On November 22, 1941, at 5 Crofton Road, Ngaio, Ellen Hand; aged 80 years. Funeral Service at Ngaio Anglican Chureh, 10.30 a.m. Today, and thence to Karori Cemetery.
NEWCOMB.—On November 21, 1941, at her residence, Duart Road, Havelock North, Charlotte Margaret, loved wife of the late Guy Newcomb; aged 82 years.
ROWNTREE. —On November 23, 1941, at the Wellington Hospital, Ada Rowntree, late of 335 Broadway, Miramar and daughter of the late Mr. aud Mrs. William Burgess Rowntree; aged 65 years. Funeral Service at K. H. Wilson and Sons’ Chapel, John Street, Today (Monday), November 24, 1941, at 3 p.in., thence to the Crematorium, Karori.
RUNDLE. —On November 23, 1941, at 18 Marina Avenue, Lower Hutt, Philip Norman, beloved husband of Irene Flora Rundle, and father of Philip and John; aged 58 years.
STEVENS. —On November 22, 1941, at her residence, 256 Oriental Parade, Jane Eliza, beloved widow of the late James Stevens, late of Wairarapa; in her 88th year.
