Batsmen Show Good Form PRESTIGE HOSIERY LEAD IN A GRADE - Wickets were dead and of little assistance to bowlers for the continuation of the Wellington Mercantile Cricket League’s competitions on Saturday. High scoring was the order of the day, but there were some unaccountable lapses during which a few bowlers returned exceptional figures. . Prestige Hosiery maintained their lead in the A grade when they 'had the better of a strong challenge from Amalgamated Bricks, while Working Men’s Club routed Fort Dorset. Prestige Hosiery and Amalgamated Bricks are the only unbeaten A grade teams. - In the B grade Tramways, Sargoods and Celtic are stilt unbeaten ... The two best doubles of the day were returned by A grade players. A. Sandholm (W.M.C.) scored 59 runs, including five sixes, and took five wickets for 11 i'R>i s in a brilliant burst of bowling. W.
