WELLINGTON HARMONIC SOCIETY

Tomorrow evening in the Concert Chamber oi' the Town Hall the Wellington Harmonic Society, under the eouductorship of Mr. 11. Temple \\ liite, will give the final concert of its l'J-11 season. An excellent and well-varied programme has been arranged and the choir will contribute many favourite numbers among which will be "Still as the Might” (Bohm), “Steal Away” (Burleigh I, "Swansea Town” (Holst), "The Bine Bird” (Stanford), "In Autumn'' (Brahms), "Going Home” (Dvorak), and for female voices, Schubert's "Serenade,” the solo being taken by Mrs. Ida Coventry, a life-member of the society. The assisting artists are .ltrs. Dora Leslie, violinist, whose numbers include "Melody” (Dawes), "Praeludium and Allegro” (I’ugnani — arr. Kreisler), "Danse Espagnole” (Granados — arr. Kreisler) and "Rondo” (Mozart); and the popular soprano, Mrs. Metle Gamble, who will sing, "The Red Sarafan," adapted from an air by Varlumoll by Fred Whishaw, "1 Love Thee” (Grieg), and ‘Tn Thy Dear Eyes” (Raff). With Mr. Harold Whittle at the piano an excellent programme is assured those who attend.
