EVIDENCE FOUND

German Blanket Shortage

(British Official Wireless.)

RUGBY, November 14. Recent Official inspections of prisoners of war camps in Germany have shown that there is a blanket shortage in a. number of camps, states the M ar Office. The German camp authorities have stated that recent German High Command regulations provide for only one blanked to each prisoner, although the prisoners are allowed to keep in addition any personal blankets they possess. It is believed that this policy may have been due to the effect of the Russian campaign and. the number, of Russian prisoners for whom provision has to be made.
