VERY WORKMAN-LIKE

R.N.Z.A.F. Rugby Team In Britain (Received November 14, 7 p.in.*) LONDON, November 13. Squadron Leader G. C. Kain, a brother of the New Zealand air ace, the late “Cobber” Kain, has been appointed selector of the Royal New Zealand Air Force Rugby team to play Rosslyn Park at Richmond on November 29. Squadron Leader Kain says the team will be “very workman-like.” The players, who will be drawn from stations throughout tlie country, will include as scrum half the Hawke’s Bay player, Sergeant H. Tomoana, who has already represented his station. Other players will probably include Sergeant A. G. Sutherland (Southland), and Pilot Officer E. Grant, both of whom have played in All Black trials.

Squadron Leader Kain is considering arranging matches after Christmas with British services teams.
