Murder Charge Laid

LONDON, November 12.

Philip Joseph Ward, aged 31, a gunner in the Royal Artillery, was H‘ at the Acton Police Court with tin murder of Leslie Francis Ludford, solicitor, who was fatally wmtndetl ' the street by a gunman. Ward "J--remanded for medical examination. Another woman victim of the &uu man has died in hospital. It was reported yesterday that a man and a woman were killed and two other men and five women wounded when a gunman tired at random from a car in the Chiswick, Actou and Penvale districts of Loudon.
