WOMAN’S BODY FOUND

Washed Up At Eastbourne The naked body of a woman was found washed up on some rocks at the southern end of Eastbourne yesterday afternoon. She wait — Mrs. Isabella Jones, aged 48 years Buick Street, Petone. The body was found by Miss Hamilton, a teacher at the Eastbourne primary school. Reports were received by the Petone police at 8 o’clock yesterday morning that Mrs. Jones was missing from tier home, where she resided with members of her family. It is believed she left her home clothed in a dressing gown, Mrs. Jones, it is understood, had been ill for some tinm and had undergone one operation and was about to undergo another. An inquest is to be held.
