MR. DUFF COOPER
Short Visit To New Zealand
An announcement that Mr. Duff Cooper, British Minister in the Far East, would arrive at Auckland on November 21 on a short visit to New Zealand was made yesterday by the Prime Minister, Mr. Fraser. Mr. Duff Cooper will be accompanied by Lady Diana Duff Cooper. ' Mr. Duff Cooper’s tour of New Zealand will fee made entirely by air. After his arrival in Auckland he will be given a civic reception and next day he will leave for Christchurch, where he will be accorded a civic welcome and will remain till the beginning of the next week. He will arrive at Wellintgon from Christchurch on Monday. November 24, and will be given a civic reception that day at noon. After the civic reception be will be present at a State luncheoji to be held in Parliament House. He will leave Wellington on Wednesday morning, November 26, on his return to Auckland, via Rotorua. Mr. Fraser will go to Auckland to meet Mr. Duff Cooper on his arrival from Australia.
