The Kt. Hon. I*. Fraser, Prime Minister, left Wellington last night for Christchurch. He expects to return to Wellington on Sunday morning. The Hon. D. G. Sullivan, Minister of Munitions and Supply, left Wellington for Christchurch last night. He will return to Wellington tomorrow. The Hon. 11. T. Armstrong, Minister of Public. Works, left Wellington last night for Christchurch. He expects to return to Wellington on Sunday. The Hon. 11. G. R. .Mason, Minister of Education, will leave Wellington, today for New Plymouth. The Minister, who will open the new gymnasium at tlie New Plymouth Girls’ High School tomorrow, will return to Wellington on Sunday night. The Hon. R. Semple, Minister of National Service, is visiting Christchurch. The Hon. P. C. Webb, Minister of Labour, is visiting Christchurch. The Hou. M. Connelly, Dunedin, returned south last night by steamer express. 1 The Him. W. Lee Marlin was a passenger by last night’s Limited express from Wellington. Mr. B. Van Staveren travelled south from Wellington by air yesterday. He will return to Wellington next week. Mr. K. S. Henry, secretary of the New Zealand War Amputees’ Association, is in Christchurch attending the annual reunion of Hie local branch of the association.

Commissioner J. Evan Smith, -territorial Commander for the Salvation Army in New Zealand, will leave this morning on a 10 days’ tour of the East Coast, Waikato, and Taranaki districts. The Rev. N. 11. Finch, Wairoa, .Moderator of the Hawke’s Bay Presbytery, arrived al, Wellington yesterday from the south. Mr. J. T. .Martin, Wellington, chairman and managing director of Wright, Stephenson and Co., Ltd., travelled from Wellington to Blenheim by air yesterday.
