HOSPITAL PROBLEMS
Explanation To Local Body Representatives Difficulties faced by the Wellington Hospital Board in meeting requirements for the accommodation of patients were explained to 35 representatives of Hie contributing local bodies, who met the board members at the main institution yesterday afternoon to discuss the problem of overcrowding and also the extension of facilities. They were welcomed by the chairman of the board, Mr. F. Castle. The medical superintendent, Ur. Cairney. addressed the local body representatives, and outlined the conditions prevailing. Several questions were answered ami subsequently the visitors inspected the hospital. A survey of accommodation conditions is to be submitted to the next meeting of the board.
