FALL FROM OIL TANK
Fatal Accident At \ Palmerston Dominion Special Service. PALMERSTON N., November 13. One mam died before his admission to hospital and another was injured in an accident this morning at the depot of the Atlantic Union Oil Company, Limited, Boundary Road, near Kelvin Grove. Both men were engaged in painting .'a large oil tank, when they.fell about'2s feet. The men involved are understood to be: — ( KILLED. A. Stewart, an elderly man, Wellington. INJURED. Percival Crawford, aged 38, Wellington, abrasions to chest. His condition is satisfactory. When the accident occurred the two men were on a scaffolding suspended from the lip of the oil tank, which is not unlike a gasometer. They were taken to hospital' by ambulance, but so serious were ' Mr. Stewart’s injuries that he died before admission. , "
