Tramway Traffic In 1040-41
The seven electric tramways systems in New Zealand record an increase of 6.9 per cent, in the passengers carried in the year 19-W-11, the total being 160,077 227, the highest number registered since 1928-29. Petrol restrictions have in measure accounted for the increase. A 1 the centres, except Dunedin and W eilin„ton. show increase, Auckland having tne largest (8,802,000).
