VISIT TO BRITAIN
Australian Parliamentary Delegation (Received October 3, 5-30 p.m.) CANBERRA, October 3. A proposal is afoot to send an Australian Parliamentary delegation to Britain consisting of equal numbers of non-Labour and Labour members. They will remain there three weeks and then visit the United States. The object is to enable the delegation to study Britain at war, inspect the blitzed areas and assure the British people of Australia’s determination to maintain a maximum war contribution. The invitation comes from the British branch of the Empire Parliamentary Association.
