TRIBUTE TO R.A.F.
Italian Newspaper LONDON, September 30. Paying a tribute to the Royal Air Force, the aviation editor of the Turin newspaper “Stanipa” says: “The ardour of British pilots is assuming gigantic proportions. The British antiaircraft defences and signalling system are almost perfect. Not a single German plane can reach Britain without being identified immediately after taking off. German bombers and fighters always fight over Britain under conditions of inferiority, because the Luftwaffe is clearly at a disadvantage compared with the Royal Air Force.”
