DEATH OVERSEAS

Relative Of Sir John Dill

The death is reported while a prisoner of war of Lieutenant John I’. Dill, second cousin of Sir John Dill, Chief of the Imperial General Staff. Lieutenant Dill, who was educated in England, was a member of the Honourable Artillery Company in London for some time, and came to New Zealand in 193 G, being engaged in business in Wellington. He was an enthusiastic territorial officer, and at the outbreak of war joined the overseas forces. He was a son of Mrs. M. D. Dill, of Beckenham, Kent, England.
