HAMPER FOR SPINSTERS’ CLUB
A generous hamper from the Carterton Patriotic Committee was gratefully received during the week by the Spin-, sters’ Club. Other donations of lovely spring flowers and of foodstuffs were received from Mrs. W. H. Stevens and Mrs. Wicks. A large crowd was present yesterday and on Friday night. Items were given yesterday by Miss Eva Moore and by Second Lieutenant M. Dinnie.
