Draw In Victory Cup Replay A GAME ABANDONED Efforts to complete the first B division championship and to find the finalists .n the Victory Cup competition were defeated by the weather in Wellington on Saturday. The championship match between Diamond and Swifts, at Anderson Park, was called off when Diamond were leading 3-2. Institute won by default irom Air Force. The Victory Cup semifinal between Marist aud Miramar Rangers is still undecided. The previous Saturday the game had been called off at 4-all because ot the state of the ground, and in the replay the teams again finished level at o-all after extra time. . , Game Abandoned.— Considering the waterlogged state of Anderson Paik, Swifts and Diamond played quite good football in their championship matchSwifts needed a win or they would be out of the running for the championship, but Diamond led 3-1 at half-time and were still one goal ahead when the game was called off early in the second spell. Swifts had only eight players at the start of the game, but two more took the field soon after. Du Feu scored Diamond s first goal, aud later Healey, the Switts goalkeeper, failed to clear a ground. shot which Heath, following up fast, kicked through his hands into the net. lhe Swifts defence was working well, and Shankie, playing good football on the heavy ground, was the best of the forwards. He beat Howie, the Diamond goalkeeper, with a shot from 20 yards out. Another goal by Heath made me half-time score 3-1 in Diamond's favour. Swifts reduced the gap early in the second spell when Gibson scored, but the referee, Mr. G. Jackson, then called the game off.

Another Draw— The Victory Cup replay between Marist aud Miramar Rangers at Kelburn Park ended in another draw, and the teams were still level after extra time had been played. The ground was sodden and muddy. Miramar Rangers led 2-1 at half-time, Deslandes gaining their first and their second bciug sent in by a Marist defender. Foote, on the right wing, scored for Marist. Miramar Rangers went further ahead early in the second spell, but a goal by Jacobson, the centre-forward, and another by Nunns, the left wing, put Jtarist level. With 'Deslandes scoring again for Miramar and Nunns getting another for Mnrist, making the score 4-all, extra time had to he played. Jacobson scored for Marist and Baillie for Miramar, making the final score 5-all. The game will have to be replayed. Second Division.—Onslow 5, Moera Stop Gut 0. Onslow win the championship. Third Division, final Henderson Cup.— Seatoun 8, Miramar Rangers 1. Fourth B Division Cup.—Technical College 5, Boys’ Institute 3. Sixth A Division.—Stop Out 4, Marist (Newtown) 0. Interhouse, semifinal, Greatliead Cup.— Newtown Gym 3, Hannahs 1.
