ACTIVITY AT TOBRUK
(Brutish Official Wireless.) RUGBY’, September 11. A communique issued in Cairo by British General Headquarters in the Middle East states that at Tobruk our artillery dispersed a small enemy tank patrol. Enemy air raids wore on a heavy scale, but no serious damage or loss resulted. In the frontier area there was some exchange of shellfire.
