VOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that at A’ a Special Meetir ;of the Lower Hutt City Council heltl on Monday, the Sth day of September, 1941, the following Resolution was passed:— That the Council of the City of Lower Hutt doth hereby make and ordain by way of Special Order the following Bylaw amending By-law No. 1, 1928, under and by virtue of "The Municipal Corporations Act, 1933,” and all other acts and powers whatsoever enabling it in that behalf. (1) This By-law mav be cited as lhe Lower Hutt By-law Amendment No. 13, 1941, and shall be read together with and as part of The Lower Hutt By-Law No. 1, 1928 (2) Thio By-law shall come into force on the Ist day of November, 1941. (3) Every person being the owner of a dog or having for the time being the care, custody or control of a dog, shall keep and prevent the same from wandering or being at large and without proper control in or upon any street or public place. (4) For the purposes of this By-law a person shall be deemed to be the owner of a dog who (a) Keeps or harbours any dog, whether at largt or iu confinement or (b) Occupies any bouse or premises wherein any dog is usually kept or permitted to remain. (5) Any person who fails to comply with the provisions of this By-law shall be guilty of an offence hereunder. And notice is hereby given that the above Resolution will be submitted for confirmation at an Ordinary Meeting of tlie Council to be he'-' at the Lower Hutt City Council Chambers High Street, Lower Hutt, at. 7.30 p.m. on Monday, the 13th day of October, 1941.
