INTOXICATED IN CHARGE OF CAR
Thomas Carl Lane, second-hand dealer, aged 30, pleaded not guilty in the Magistrates’ Court, Wellington, yesterday, before Mr. Stout, S.M., to being intoxicated iu charge of a motor-car m Cambridge Terrace, and to committing a nuisance in a telephone cabinet. On the first charge he was fined £25, with costs 10/-, and doctor’s fee £l/1/-. his licence being cancelled for all except a light trade vehicle. On the second charge he was convicted and discharged.
