William Weatherman Please Note !

WHAT cold days Mr. Weatherman ’ has been sending us lately I Every morning I shiver and think how far away summertime feels; then when I look out of the window it seems as if spring is really here. This is because the wattle trees are all in bloom and very beautiful they look with their bright yellow flowers. In the paddocks some little lambs frisk around. They run about together like the boys and girls at school, but when the trains and rail-cars go past they get very frightened and run as fast as they can to their mothers. I wonder how they like this cold, wet weather. Perhaps if Mr. Weatherman sees them*he will send them some sunshine to play about in. _ Original, by Jack-in-the-Box (9), Waingawa.,
