MAGIC BLACK AND WHITE

Present-Day Witchcraft ‘'Witchcraft,” by William Seabrooke (London: Harrap). It is hard to credit that the practise of black magic exists in these times to the extent Air. Seabrooke claims in his book, “Witchcraft.” Here are the indisputable facte, however, supported by amazing evidence to prove it. Mr. Seabrooke is something of a connoisseur of witchcraft and has successfully practised certain types of it according to the customs of many lands, both savage and “civilized.” His story is disturbing in the light of our present degree of enlightenment. It is startling to learn of mummyworshipping sects in London, of murderous witchcraft cults in New York and Paris, of the similarity of primitive African tribal witchcraft and certain “civilized” witch rites.
