On the trial grass The sVrecker and Cymric strode over seven furlongs in 1.31. Good Health finished in front of I'ernby, with Blue Abbey beaten off, at the end of seven furlongs in 1.33. Palfrey and Iceland Spar were responsible for the best time, 1.17 3-5, tor six furlongs. They kept together; throughout and finished on bhik-. ari -ran the same distance in 1.18 3-5, and others ineluded: Sham Boy and Roy Dun, 1.20 3-5; Crossmaglen and Fleche dOr,. 1.21; Greenbank and Military Maid,' 1.19 4-5; and Bascule and Pennywhistle, 1.21 2-5. ■ . . Eulogist showed smart form by reeling off five-furlongs along the back stretch in 1.4 3-5. Scottish Dale and Lord Dundas ran the same distance in 1.0 2-5. Hunting Charm and Highland Dance followed in 1.6 2-5, the latter finishing the better.
