DELPHINIUMS

Black Spot Now Prevalent

The recent warm but wet weather has encouraged the growth of black spot on the foliage of dephiniums. If permitted to develop, this pest will mar your display and seriously weaken your plants. Check it now by spraying with Bordeaux mixture. Apply the spray to the soil round each plant as well as the foliage. Seedsmen now supply the mixture made up in powder form. It is therefore only a matter of a few moments to prepare a bucket of spraying liquid.
