WORK APPRECIATED

Lady Bledisloc’s Gift To * Founders’ Society

The excellent work that is being done by the women’s committee of the New Zealand Founders’ Society is not being overlooked. At the recent monthly meeting in Wellington a letter of appreciatign was read from the Lady Galway Patriotic Guild, which not only acknowledged the receipt of articles made for soldiers and refugees by the committee but commented on the quality of the goods supplied. Lady Bledisloe, who also knows of the war work that is being done by this society, has forwarded a charming full-length photograph of herself. It bears the inscription, “To the New Zealand Founders’ Society, with all kind thoughts.” -
