Suggestion By Mr. Doidge

A suggestion that children in primary schools should be permitted to offer a prayer for victory each morning was made by Mr. Doidge (Opposition, Tauranga). He said I hey were permitted to salute the flag, and he advocated wore attention to the moral side of education. Mr. Doidge said it would surely be possible for the leaders of the churches to devise between them a suitable prayer.
