“NINE TILL SIX”
All-Woman Cast In Repertory Play
An all-woman cast of 16 players tbok part in the three-act play, “Nine Till Six,” presented at .the Wellington Repertory Theatre's social last night, in St. Francis Hall. The action of the play took place in a milliuiiry and dressmaking shop in Regent Street, Loudon, and not only provided dramatic entertainment but added further enjoyment in the display of fashionable clothes worn throughout. Characters included mannequins, a millinery saleswoman, shop juniors and apprentice, besides wealthy customers. Mr. E. E. Le Grove was the producer and the following women took part: Mrs. G. C. Boyes, Mi&> Marjorie Eberlet, Miss Vi Wilson, Miss Betina Lloyd, Mrs. W. H. Lucas, Mrs. Myles F. E. Wright, Miss Celia Dwyer, Miss Doree Watson, Mrs. U. Steele, Miss Marjorie Hutton, Miss Joan Flack, Miss Aiieen Bacon, Miss Joy Allan, Miss Mary Sladden, Miss Jean Cavaghan, Mrs. R. Finlayson. Mrs. D. S. N. McCartney acted as prompter, Miss Marjorie Rose was property mistress, Mrs. E. E. Le Grove, wardrobe mistress, and Mr. Lewis Jagger, stage manager.
Following the performance, supper was served and the usual dance followed, music being suplied by an orchestra. During the evening, incidental music was- supplied by .Miss Olga Burton and the Misses Gwen and Phyllis Sealey. The hostess was Mrs. J. E. L. Baldwin, assisted by Mrs. Lewis Campbell, Mrs. F. A. Millar, Mrs. R. Gilkison, Mrs. G. H. A. Swan, Mrs. G. R. Powles, Mrs. F. C. Burgess, E. H. R. Green, Misses A. Newton and S. Paul. The ushers were Mr. and Mrs. A. Peacock, Misses Betty and Kirsty Page and Mr. K. Rowe.
