Debut Of Kindergarten
WARWICK FARM MEETING TODAY
Kindergarten will make his Australian debut to-day. He will be opposed by seven others, including three three-year-olds with moderate form, and his most dangerous opponents are likely to be High Caste and Lucrative, The latter pair are the respective favourites for the Epsom and Metropolitan Handicaps. Other Epsom and Metropolitan horses will appear in the Campbelltown and Spring Handicaps, and Derby hopes will take on the llobartville Stakes. The order of the races is as follows : — August Hurdles, H mile; Campbelltown Handicap, six furlongs; Farm Novice Handicap, first division, one mile; Hobartville Stakes, seven furlongs; harm Novice Handicap, second division, one mile; Warwick Stakes, seven furlongs, Warwick Farm Spring Handicap, one mile tjnd three furlongs; Glenlee Handicap, one mile. The following are the times of the races, Nbw Zealand time: 3.0, 3.35, 4.10, 4.45, 5.20, 5.50, 6.25, 7.0. A cable message from Sydney gives the following acceptors: — Twelve acceptors figure in the Campli ...town Handicap, £500; six furlungs, .ding Rimvell 9.2, Amiable 8.10, . abeam 7.4. Warwick Stakes, £6OO ; weight-for-age ; seven furlongs. —High Caste 9.3, Kindergarten 9.0, Lucrative 9.0, Dashing Cavalier 8.12, Freckles 8.4, Kingsdale 7.1, Chatham’s Choice 7.1, Dick Whittington 7.1. , „ Warwick Spring Handicap, £600; one mile and three furlongs—Gilltown 8.9, Lord Valentine 8.2, Yours Truly i. 9, Highborn 7..), Gundagai 7.5, Hilarious 7.2. Scarlet Ranger 6.12, Conuette 6.10, Triggerman 6.8. Beau Vite, who has been withdrawn from the Warwick Stakes, was the star galloper on Hie tracks yesterday, running six furlongs on the grass in 1.155. kindergarten was given easy work, and is expected to strip very fit. Serenata will make her debut in the Glenlee Handicap in which she has 9.9. The minimum is 7.7. Today’s racing will be held at Randwick, the Warwick Farm course being occupied by lhe military. Station 2YA will rebioudcast a shortwave description of the Warwick, Stakes at approximately 5.50, New Zealand time.
