DEATH DUTIES ON ESTATES OF MERCHANT SEAMEN
It appeared that, while the estates of men killed in the fighting services were exempt from payment of death duty, that provision did not cover merchant seamen who died as a result of enemy action, said Mr. Roy (Opposition, Clutha i, asking whether the Minister of Stamp Duties would rectify the position.
