AMAZON TRAVEL TALK
A travel talk on the Amazon Valley will be given tonight in the Cambridge Terrace Congregational Hall, by I It. M. Stevenson.
There was a line of stationary tram traffic extending along the busy section of Willis Street. Wellington, yesterday afternoon when the points al the Willis and Manners Streets junction jammed at 4.25 o’clock. However, before repair men from the City Council arrived. the automatic points began ITinctioiiing again. The lapse was for only five minutes and the trams were running to schedule at Hie, live o’clock rush period.
