Engaged Couple Act Bride And Groom

A VIRTUAL rehearsal of their wetlding in May was experienced by Kathryn Adams and her fiance, Hugh Beaumont, a young actor, when they took marriage vows before the camera in a film significantly titled “Unfinished Business.” The producer-director, Gregory La Cava, cast Miss Adams as Irene Dunnes sister in the film because of the young actress’s resemblance to the star, scene shows tile marriage of the younger sister. La Cava east Beaumont as the groom when he learned that Miss Adams was engaged to the actor. The occasion is not the first one in which La Cava has had a part in the career of Miss Adams, a ministers daughter from St. Ulm. Minnesota. Following the dentil of her father, she went to Hollywood in 1939 armed only with a letter of introduction to La Cava. The latter gave Miss Adams her first role, in his film "Fifth Avenue Girl," and she won her present contract with Universal last year.
