FATAL FOOTBALL INJURY
(By Telegraph—Pres.- Association.) BLENHEIM, July 29. Removed from the football field on Saturday in an unconscious condition Ashley Patrick Wilson, aged 16, died last night in the Wairau Hospital as the result of cerebral concussion. Wilson collided with another player in the junior Rugby match Old Boys v. Opawu. He was a son of Mr. Ernest James Wilson. Springlands. Changes In Representative Teams Because of an injury, Martin (Eastbourne), will be unable to take his place at. centre-! hreequarter in the Wellington team to play Canterbury at Athletic Park, Wellington, on Saturday, and his place will be taken by I’ocknall (Wellington College Old Boys). Pearson (Air I'orcel fills the vacancy in the emergencies, ami Ewert (Hutt-Army) replaces Pearson as emergency for the B division team.
