GERMAN NAVAL BASES BOMBED

Air Offensive Maintained LONDON, June 23. There was no slackening last night iu the R.A.F. offensive against military objectives iu western Germany. Wilhelmshaven, Bremen, and Emden were among the naval bases bombed, heavy fires being started at Wilhelmshaven. Dusseldorf and the Rhineland were also raided. One enemy fighter was shot down during these raids, from which three R.A.F. machines failed to return. The official German news agency admitted ibis morning that R.A.F. bombers flew over the north Germai. coastal region. The reports indicate that the Germans are now finding it impossible to cover up the damage by means of quick-working squads.
