Knocked Down Outside New Building t ine <if the workmen engaged on Hie enlist ruction of the military hospital <m Aotea Quay was knocked down on Hie road outside the building on Saturday night, apparently by a vehicle which did not slop, lie was Mr. J. Teanan. labourer, 17-1 Thorndon Quay. Mr. Teanan was taken to hospital by the Free Ambulance with head injuries, but. last night his conditton was reported to be satisfactory. The accident happened shortly after 7 o’clock, while Mr. Teanan was engaged on a task on the roadside.
