Mrs. H. Mcßain, who has been visiting her brother and sister-iu-law, Dean and Mrs. Warren, Christchurch, has returned to Pukehou, Hawke’s Bay. Mrs. C. R. Williamson, Christchurch, is the guest of her mother, Mrs. Robert Crawford, Wellington. Miss E. Tennent, Wellington, commander-in-chief of the Voluntary Aids Detachment of the New Zealand Red Cross Society, is on an official visit to Christchurch and is a guest at Bishopscourt. Later Miss Tennent will visit the West Coast. Mrs. T. Penlington, Akaroa, is visiting her daughter in Wellington, Mrs. E. W. Chapman, Roseneath. Miss Clare Donovan, Hastings, who has been spending a holiday with her sister, Mrs. A. R. Terris, Wanganui, has entered New Plymouth Public Hospital for the course of ‘ general training. Mrs. H. H. Ward, Lower Hutt, has arrived at New Plymouth to spend a holiday with her mother, Mrs. R. J. Matthews. Mrs. H. Wyatt has- returned to Christchurch from Wellington.
