Old Man’s Leg Broken

Knocked over by a ram in a paddock at Treutham yesterday afternoon, Mr. Thomas Allen, 106 Main Road, Treatham, had his left leg broken. He was taken to hospital by the Wellington Free Ambulance. Mr. Allen, who is aged 82, was involved in another accident on May 3. He and his wife, aged 79, were walking along Main Road, Upper Hutt, at night when a taxi knocked down Mrs. Allen, who received injuries from which she died in the Wellington Hospital on May 5.
