The National Foundation ol liesearch on Infantile Paralysis disclosed that Dr. Albert Sabin lias established the new theory that the poliomyelitis virus invades the human body through the mouth rathet than the' nose. The foundation said that this opens an entirely new field of infection research, which so far has baffled the medical world Dr. Sabin also pointed out that infantile paralysis has frequently followed tennis, swimming or walking in less than 21 hours, and the heavr exercise apparently converted a milder form of the disease into a more serious form. Persons exposed to infantile paralysis should avoid heavy exercise and guard against chills.
