CREDIT BY FRAUD AND THEFT ADMITTED

Pleading guilty to charges of theft of a pair of shoes, and obtaining credit by false representation, James Toniich, waiter, aged 19, appeared before Mr. Stout, S.M.. in the Magistrates’ Court. Wellington, yesterday morning. He was convicted and ordered to come up for sentence if called on within 12 months.

Douglas Allan Archer, seaman, aged 23, who pleaded guilty to obtaining credit by false representation, was similarly dealt with. Both accused were ordered to refuit'l the money fraudulently obtained.
