At the final meeting of the Kairanga County Council as at present constituted advice was received from the Palmerston North City Council that the Government was prepared to make a grant of LiO'h’ pward the cost of improving the AlamraKawau Streams, and that a further 'meeting of the couujuttee set UP berweeu the Citv and the count; wontf be cilled after tie wrthcojmai elections.
