"Pageant of Empire” will be presented twice in Wellington today, at S pan., and a matinee at 2 p.m. The scenes and dialogue, which take the form of a cavalcade or sketchy story of the growth of the British Empire, from the time of introduction of Christianity to Saxon England down to tlie present day. interspersed aj intervals with appropriate songs and dances. 'l'he perforinanee is something over which every patriotic patron can warmly enthuse, as there is in tin- fabric of the piece something of the spirit of England, now undergoing the supreme test of all times.
