Nearly ready for launching I'rotn the shipyard of .Mr. Ernest Wright at Tnnctii't'y, is on.- of the largest wooden cargo stoa-.oerA built in New South Wales for many years, says the "Sydney .Moriiiim Herald.” The ship is being built for the North Coast Steam Navigation (h inpany. Eld., and will be launched about the end of July. The vessel is being made of Australian hardwood obtained within tl radius of BO miles of Tuncurry. All employees at tlie shipyard are local men, with long experience Pi boatbuilding. It is hoped that successful construct ion of this ship will stimulate wooden boallmilding along Hie north coast. The height of Hie forecastle above the deck is 33ft., and the size of tlie hold is -1011. by Itlft, The ship will be of Hie one-end type, with machinery aft, strong bulwarks, one mast, and a long, swinging derrick.
