KILLED IN R.A.F. RAID

LONDON, May 7
Rome reports that Colonel Carlo Amione, director-general of mechanization at the Italian War Office, was killed in an air raid in North Africa on May 3, the date on which the Royal Air Force raided Benghazi. Rome radio said Colonel Amione rendered highest services in me war in developing the mechanization of the Italian army.
