EXHIBITION OF WORK

Pupils Of St. Mark’s Church School

Great interest wai} shown in the exhibition of pupils’ work held at St. Mark's Church School on Wednesday afternoon. All kinds of handwork were on view, including drawing, painting, modelling,- designing, mapping and lettering, showing the progress made in these branches of school work. Many mothers and friends were among the interested spectators and several teachers from otherschools were present. A short programme of items was presented. The upper school children and the lower classes both gave songs, followed by verse sjreaking. The infants gave their action songs, and there was a demonstration of first aid by the pupils. Afternoon tea was served, a group of the mothers helping in dispensing it.

Among those who attended were Mrs. Sprott, Rev. N. F. E. Robertshawe and Mrs. Robertshawe, Mrs. A. 11. Waters, Mrs. Gibbs, Miss D. Isaac. Miss Hayes, Mr. G. W. Barltrop.
