The collection has been lent by the Australian Trade Commiesiouer. Australian production ot war materials, from machine-gun.belts to naval vessels, is shown, and Xroin. (he photographs it may be realized what a potential arsenal Australia is'. Bren gun carriers, Wirraway training planes, depth charges and shells, all made in Australia, arc pictured. Naval production is regarded as one of the heavy military industries, but Australia is Keeping right up in this, too. A naval vessel is seen taking the water in an Australian yard, and reserve guns for the cruisers are shown at an Australian naval yard. The barrels of naval guns deteriorate quickly in action. Other shots show Australian troope in Palestine, and specially interesting are Scenes of Australian officers mediating between Arab tribes in an open-air court. The photography throughout is excellent, and the collection is worth more than a casual glance. It is interesting, instructive, and, above all, encouraging.
