R.A.M.C. ENTERTAINED
Members of (lie staff of lI.M. Hospital Ship' Somersetshire were entertained !>.' the Wellington Returned Soldiers Association at an inforinal gathering on ■.alurdav night. The president. LieuleiminColoitel A. Cowles. V.D.. welcomed the visitors. . . With Mr. E. Dealt al Hie piano and Mr \ Elston as song leader, lite evening ‘was soon going with a swing, and I> e visitors did not take long to join tn. the sergeant in charge of the X-ray on the Somersetshire acting as their leader. One item followed another so swiltiy Ihiu there was never a ilttll moment, but New Zealanders and Britons found time to exchange experiences and become triemls. The visitors were most enthusiastic about tlie reception they had received tn New Zetland. They had all been glad to get ashore to have a look round, they said, but their opportiitiities to see the eitv mid visit the shops had been restrKwo.l'by the anxiety of Wellinglmumi" lo enlertmii them.
