Biriiie, postmaster at Morrinsville for the past two years, who Ims completed 40 years’ service with the Post a tei Telegraph Department, will retire on superannuation on May 10 Mr. Walter Harris, Christchurch, has been appointed by the Department of Education supervisor of broadcasting to schools and education by films. Mr. Harris was formerly a:: instructor at the Christchurch Teclin'ieal College.
