AIRCRAFT DAMAGED
Crash Through Fence At Rongotai PILOT NOT INJURED Severe damage was caused to an Oxford training aircraft when it crashed at Bongotai yesterday afternoon, but the pilot, Leading Aircraftman J. J. Fox, who was the only occupant, was not injured. : The pilot was on a routine flight from Ohakea to Blenheim when he was compelled to land at Rongotai owing to the weather, making it unsafe to cross to the South Island. In doing so he overshot.' the aerodrome; He crashed through the boundary fence and the machine overturned.
