Queen Carnival Programme

The latest voting figures iu the Wellington Victory Queen Carnival are as follows : Public Services, 740,6215; Commerce, 722.480; Fighting Services, 700,455; Transport, 463,884; Hutt Valley, 424,161; Movie, 418,686. Today and tomorrow will be the last opportunities of securing tickets in the Fighting Services Queen’s art union. The total value of the six prizes exceeds £6OO. In support of the Retailers' Grecian Princess, a patriotic ball, arranged by Mac-duffs. Limited, will be held in the Majestic Cabaret tomorrow night. Dancing will begin at 0 o’clock. Annand-Sinilh, chairman of the carnival committee, announced yesterday that the appeal made last week for direct giving iiad resulted in £234/13/6 being received.
